Mi buen amigo Elder Fitzgerald

Una buena amistad vale mucho....

Creo que soy muy sociable y es por eso que tengo muchos amigos en diferentes lugares en donde habitualmente estoy, pero hay amigos que los considero especiales porque aprendo cosas de ellos y tengo más confianza para hacer actividades y para conversar. Por cierto creo que hasta ahora el número de amigos misioneros ha aumentado y me gusta tener su compañía, pienso que tenemos cosas en común, como por ejemplo: platicar de actividades de la iglesia, de algún deporte o quizá de algo que sea interesante como el arte que me encanta. 

Tener un buen amigo es "tener una mano tendida que te puede ayudar" porque tienes confianza de decir algo importante, recibir una buena opinión o preguntar sobre algo interesante o quizá una duda que en algún momento podamos tener. Recuerdo una frase que escucha hace poco en una conferencia que decía el profeta " Somos lo que hacemos" se refería a que las cosas que hacemos son el reflejo de lo que pensamos interiormente y lo demostramos en el mundo, y una parte importante es que constantemente estamos tomando decisiones que definen cada día nuestra vida. 

En esas decisiones importantes, pues, escogemos a nuestros amigos, nuestro estilo de vida, decidimos que actividades hacer, que lugares visitar y por supuesto como nos gusta vernos ante los demás, como la apariencia en la sociedad. Creo que tener buena personas a tu alrededor hace una vida mejor y más feliz porque son personas similares a nosotros mismos, por eso yo valoro a un buen amigo.

A good friendship is worth a lot ....

I think I am very sociable and that is why I have many friends in different places where I usually am, but there are friends who consider them special because I learn things from them and I have more confidence to do activities and to talk. By the way I think that until now the number of missionary friends has increased and I like to have their company, I think we have things in common, such as: talking about church activities, some sport or maybe something interesting like art that I love.

Having a good friend is "having a helping hand that can help you" because you have the confidence to say something important, receive a good opinion or ask about something interesting or maybe a doubt that we may have at some point. I remember a phrase he heard recently in a conference that said the prophet "We are what we do" meant that the things we do are the reflection of what we think inwardly and demonstrate in the world, and an important part is that constantly We are making decisions that define our life every day.

In those important decisions, then, we choose our friends, our lifestyle, we decide what activities to do, what places to visit and of course how we like to see ourselves before others, such as appearance in society. I think that having good people around you makes a better and happier life because they are people similar to ourselves, that's why I value a good friend.
